Our policy
We respect intellectual property. We respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.
Sending a notice
Send notices through the contact form with the topic "Copyright notice". A notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- Identification of the material on this site and its URL.
- Your contact information.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
Counter-notification
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notification through the contact form including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and where it appeared.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court and to accept service from the person who sent the notice.
We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notification, unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
Repeat infringers
The site accepts no user uploads. Our repeat infringer policy applies to any material contributed to us: we stop using material from anyone who repeatedly infringes.
Forwarding notices
We may forward a notice or counter-notification to the party concerned.
